Our Water Storage is in the form of 2 dams, the larger at the bottom of the site 250,000 litres which I like to add filled 1.5 hours on 25mm rain event late one night in February just from the stormwater drains on the main road.
The smaller dam of 70,000 litres at the top of the site, simply as a climate moderator, wildlife habitat, serenity mostly so I can look at the life a water body attracts while I'm cooking in our cob oven.
We now have surplus water retained by design, come and check it out.
